General News:
- Please make sure that we have a current e-mail address and phone number to allow us to keep you updated with our calendar of events. Each week you will receive an e-mail in this same format.
- We have found that reading incentives work very well with our students. For the first trimester two lucky readers will receive a $50.00 gift certificate from Wal- Mart. The first trimester ends on November 24, just before Thanksgiving Break.

Sept. 8: Wednesday: Chicken Burger, Veg. Fruit, Milk
Sept. 9: Thursday: Double Burger, Fries, Fruit, Milk; Cross Country Meet @ Quincy 4:30 p.m.
Sept 10: Friday: Nachos w/ Meat and Cheese, Tossed Salad, Fruit, Milk.

Here are some things we will need some parent help with this year:

5. All parents are invited to our student of the month assemblies.
6. Any help in the lunchroom you would be willing to provide, )we eat from 11:00-11:30 daily.
7. MEAP week muffins: baking of muffins.
8. Reading tests to students
9. Working with our knitting group. (They are a wonderful group of seventh grade girls).
10. We will train you in skyward use to make it more meaningful to you.
11. We will train you in destination Math and Reading: A new web-based tool to assist you in helping your child achieve grade level standards.
12. We would like parents to help with surprises for lockers for specific holidays.
13. Chaperones for field trips and dances.
14. Support for our Music and Athletic programs.

Jonesville Middle School is now offering the opportunity to purchase a brick; which will be placed in the grassy area in front of our new steps. All proceeds will be used to enhance our library and to upgrade our technology.
You may purchase a 4 x 8 for $150.00 or an 8 x 8 for 250.00
The 4 X 8 may have up to 3 lines of text with 15 characters per line and the 8 X 8 may have up to 6 lines with 15 characters per line.
