The Jonesville College Challenge

Jonesville Community Schools and the Class of 2012 are pleased to announce the creation of the Jonesville College Challenge.  The Jonesville College Challenge is a college savings program designed to promote and encourage our students to attend college.  Each entering Kindergartener, from the class of 2026, will get $25 placed into a 529 college savings plan.  Our hope is that all parents and students will understand that learning and job preparation go beyond their 13 years here at Jonesville.

Drive 4 UR School
On Wednesday May 8, 2013, Jonesville Community Schools will be partnering with Ken Stillwell Ford to host a "Drive 4 UR School" event at Jonesville High School from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.  This event could potentially earn $6,000 for JCS programs such as academics, the arts, and athletics.  Ford will provide different models of cars and trucks for test drives.  With each test drive that is taken, JCS will earn $20.  So, doing the math, we need at least 300 drivers to earn the $6000 for our schools.  Can we do that??  Earlier this year another county school successfully earned the full $6000 by logging 319 test drives.  Please mark your calendars and plan to take a test drive on May 8 to help make this event a success for Jonesville Schools.  Saucy Dog's BBQ and The Udder Side will be on hand to offcer a boxed lunch and ice cream treats for those of you that need to "eat and run!"
