Weekly Update For 8/30/21

Dear JMS Parents,

We had a great start back to school!  It was hot, but like always, the kids handled it well.  Here are the important dates and information for the week:

  • School times

    • Doors open at 7:35

    • Dismissal at 2:40 

  • No school this Friday (9-3) or the following Monday (9-6) due to Labor Day. 

  • Lunch and breakfast are both free this year.

  • It will be hot this week.  Please bring a water bottle with you and dress appropriately.

  • Sports have started.  We offer volleyball, football, and cross country.  6th graders may participate in cross country.  Please get your physical completed if you want to participate.

  • JONESVILLE FFA

  • Do You Like Animals or Being Outdoors? Are You Competitive or Like Challenges? Join Us for an Informational Meeting About Middle School FFA.

Ag Classroom in High School (Enter from Greenhouse at the back of the high school).

Middle School FFA will meet after school on Tuesdays, beginning September 21, 2021 in room 408.    Meeting times will be 3:00 - 4:00 PM.

Middle School FFA members will be able to participate in all FFA activities and competitions.

There is no fee for joining FFA. Only 7th and 8th graders may participate in the competitive events.
