What’s Happening at Williams: Week of October 14th
This week is Parent/Teacher Conferences and we are looking for volunteers to work our Book Fair and assist with helping students find books during daytime hours and night time hours. Currently, we are so short on volunteers that we will have to shut down some of our days and times due to a lack of volunteers. I have attached the link below to sign up.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are this week on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have not received your day and time from the teacher, please reach out to them to schedule that.
This Friday is a ½ day, AM only! Dismissal is at 11:30am.
Home Football games announcement: If your child is going to attend any home football games a parent must accompany them. Please have a conversation with your child that the low lying area behind the bleachers and beside the park is now off limits to all students. Thanks for your support.
The weather in Michigan can be unpredictable and this means varying temperatures. Please be sure to send your child to school dressed appropriately to be outside for approximately 30 minutes. Please let us know if you need assistance providing appropriate outerwear for your child. Our school rule is that if it is 50 degrees or lower, they must have a coat.
Cold and flu season is here. Please make sure you call Mrs. Nash at the office if your child is going to be out sick or going to the doctor. We cannot excuse absences that are not called in within 24 hours. If you take your child to any kind of doctor, always get a note so we can excuse it. School starts at 8:00, so please make sure your child is dropped off by 7:55 at the latest. Thanks!
Last Tuesday your child observed Alan Kazam in an assembly. He talked to us about making good choices, doing the right thing, and being a buddy not a bully while doing lots of magic tricks. We also had our local Fire Department here for Fire Safety day on Friday! Students got to come outside and see what tools the fire fighters use and how to be safe here and at home. Ask them about it!
